Padlocks

Users of the Cotswold canals for slipways, locks and bridges will require a padlock key. The principal key used is the Water Mate key which is the standard key used by the Canal and River Trust on the national network. For all regular boaters, it is likely that they will already have a Water Mate key in their possession but, should you need to purchase one, they are readily available from the Canal and River Trust website or can be purchased from the Cotswold Canal Trust Visitor Centres at Saul Junction or by Wallbridge Upper Lock at the main visitor centre in Stroud.
